Todd Franz "The Bounty Hunter" / Aug 27 - Sept 3
Todd currently wrestles for Fight The World Wrestling under Bryan Idol, Natalia Markova, and Mike Mondo. He also wrestles for NWA house shows and dark matches. His name is fitting because he is also a 15 years law enforcement veteran. 6 months ago, he suffered a shattered left foot while helping other wrestlers prepare for an NWA show. He was pushed over the top rope in the corner, cleared the ring, and landed hard on his foot. Doctors told him he would never walk normally again and possibly never wrestle again. He couldn't stand without crutches for 3 months. He performed his own rehab at a local gym by utilizing exercises that helped restore mobility to his foot at different angles. He has since returned to the ring and competed in a battle royal (the same type match that almost ended his career). He says "The business is full of ups and downs. That makes it the best roller coaster. With a good foundation of determination, perseverance, and being coachable from all angles, the doors are open. You just have to be willing to have a few doors slammed in your face and walk into the ones that welcome you." His most memorable match is his one at NWA's Return to Robards. Then you are faced with the decision to give up or get up and start over as many times as it takes. Wrestling is an exciting adventure with some of the highest highs and lowest lows.
