Wrestling is a wonderful world of characters that help us enjoy the sport. But the some of the unsung characters go without praise. Now the Wrestling Society Network are proud celebrate them every week with the indie personality of the week. This is for managers, valets, referees, and announcers. So remember to vote for your favorite indie personality.

Jaina Pryde / Sept 25 - Oct 1

Jaina has been a referee in the Midwest indy scene for two years, most notably in Michigan, Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin where she serves Head Official for UPW and WLW as well as being a regular for HWE, 4WW, and Ruthless Pro among many others. Hailing from Upper Michigan, Jaina specializes in traditional American rules wrestling, and also been known to officiate high-flying lucha libre style and brutal deathmatches. Prior to donning the stripes she trained as a wrestler under "Irish" Mickey Doyle. She has had the opportunity to learn from some of the greats including Ricky Morton and Earl Hebner. Joe is out of Jonesborough, Tn. Joe is a skilled referee trained by the WWE Hall Of Famer Ricky Morton of the Rock and Roll Express. Joe has been refereeing for 5 years as a fixture at the School Of Morton, specializing in "TV wrestling". Joe works hard and has gained incredible insight and experience, having officiated some of the top NWA wrestlers and hottest Indy wrestlers. Referee Joe is always ready to lend a hand in and out of the ring. Joe spends much of his off-work time at the School of Morton, helping keep it clean and functional, as well as training as a wrestler to better perform as a referee!
